“Schools in Need” Program 2008

While Teachers in inner city schools are digging deep into their own pockets to fill the gap for classroom supplies, The Be A Champion Foundation is asking you to help fill the gap, by supporting our 2008/09 “Schools In Need” Program.

This is more than an advocacy campaign, this is a national fundraising drive to help Teachers in inner city communities with the supplies and resources they need in order to more effectively provide our youth with the hope and promise of a bright future.

The campaign provides local middle school Teachers with vouchers to supplement educational supplies and materials in their classrooms. We also provide additional resources via our collaborations with other and organizations. Give Something Back Corporation and Network for Good allows to provide a multi-faceted program.

Surveys have shown that kindergarten through 12th grade Teachers spend more than $450 on average each school year. With budget cutbacks at every level, “Schools In Need,” along with the support of local corporate affiliates, will serve as a beacon for how we can together, help our Educators continue to provide the proper tools to help our youth succeed in the classroom.
